  1. Hi, I just purchased the 2026 Photoshop elements training apparently I got the 24 2526 but I just bought 26 is there a difference between the 26 and the 25 the 26th is what I wanted since that’s the newest one/

    • Hi Ann, the 2024-2026 is the newest title. Very little changes between versions in Photoshop Elements and I added in new videos into the existing course covering the new features. I have already refunded your new purchase, you should see that shortly in your PayPal account.

  2. I’m a new purchaser of the PSE 2024-2026 tutorial. I hope this appears as a new comment for George rather than a reply to another student.

Is there a way to navigate to different videos within the same Module?

    • Make sure you are not watching full screen, then look on the right side of the video and you will see thumbnails for all the other videos in that module.

  3. Hi George,
I purchased PSE 2026 (upgrading from 2020 version), and the 2024-2026 training course. I’m having problems with the Organizer in the 2026 version. I am just importing a small folder of pictures so that I can follow along with your training. I can import the pictures, add tags, add event, and I can put them in an album. And I can import another small folder of pictures, and do the same. But when I go to look at them in my catalog, they are just not there. The folders are still listed on the right side of my screen, and on the Home screen they are showing me a collage they have created for me, but there are no pictures in my catalog. Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Denise Harwood
****P.S. I have not brought my catalog from my PSE 2020 version into the 2026 version, does that make any difference? I sort of just wanted to start clean, and really pay attention to how I tag pictures.

    • Hi Denise, not exactly sure what you are asking. If you can import the pictures, add tags, etc. then the program is working correctly. I am assuming that the collage you are refering to is the thumbnail view of all the pictures in your catalog. That is what you should be seeing. What I am not sure about is where you are looking and finding an empty catalog. PSE does not move pictures into a specific folder, it leaves all photos where they originally are on your computer and then links to those locations. You won’t find a folder named catalog with all the pictures in it. If you look on the left side of the screen you will see Albums and Folders. The Albums are virtual locations you can set up to help you organize your images. Folders are the actual folders on your drive that contain the photos.

Starting from scratch is often a very good idea to clean things up.

  4. Is there a way to remove the background from a document? I use a site named Photzy (great photography site) and some of their pages have white print on a colored (often black) background. I prefer to print the docs and read offline but the black background wastes lots of ink and often jams paper because the large amount of ink softens the paper. I want to change the print to black and eliminate the background.

    • Hi Nicholas, interesting problem. I don’t know of any tool to remove the black background that would give quality results but I do have a work-a-round that might do the trick. First convert the photo to black and white. Then increase the contrast until the lettering is as close to white as you can get, then invert the colors on the layer. (Enhance-convert to black and white, Enhance-adjust lighting, Filter-Adjustment-Invert)
