  1. Hello George
I originally bought your tutorial for Photoshop 2023 and found it very useful. After upgrading to 2025, I again bought your tutorial and it too has been a tremendous help in understanding this software especially the Organizer.
I am currently about 1/2 way through the tutorial and have been searching for content related to photo stacking to help with macros and landscapes.
Could you please advise whether the tutorial covers this subject and where it could be found?

    • Hi Mark, open the Organizer, go to the File menu and click on Manage Catalogs. Here you can switch catalogs, set up new catalogs, or delete old ones. I like using a few different catalogs, one for family photos and another one for my YouTube projects.

  2. Hey George, Question? Where in the course do you discuss portrait skin fixes. I have a photo where a white patch appeared on the skin and want to fix it, so it matches the skin color of the surrounding skin. Thanks Jim (I purchased your 2023 course and wanted to bring it up to the 2025 version.)

    • The course mainly shows how to use the different tools and features, not specific projects. I would try the new Remove Tool which is with the healing tools. If that wasn’t satisfactory I would then try the Clone Stamp tool. Take a look at this video on how to do photo retouching https://youtu.be/63Z3WYmQiq4

  3. just purchased the 2025 course i am using my ipad is there a way to enlarge the video screen the square box in the lower right corner is not visible

    thank you

    • Hi Albert, the training is designed to display correctly on a computer monitor. Sorry but I don’t have an ipad to test screen settings. It sounds like an ipad issue where the web page should be resized to fit your screen.

  4. My layers panel always shows a transparent background every time I add a new layer, whether it is Type layer or an image. My Opacity
is set to 100%, and the blending mode is set to Normal. Please help.

    • Hi Nestor, new layers always come in empty, which also means transparent. If you want it white then just grab the paint bucket and fill with white.

  5. Help!! I have recently enrolled in your PSE course although I’ve been watching your videos for a long time. I am trying to take a baseball photo, create a layer mask and put a different background behind. I have worked on this for days with no luck!! I think I’m following the video but when I get the layer mask the picture does not appear behind it. I got a new computer and had to upgrade to elements 25. Is there anywhere I can get a detailed instruction sheet to do this?? I used the select subject method. I am sooooo frustrated!! Sorry…I’m old too!! LOL

    • Hi Judith, first make sure you have your new background on the layer below your baseball layer. Now click on the baseball layer so that it is selected, then use Subject Select to select the subject. When you see the “marching ants” selection around the subject go up to the top of the Layer panel and click on the Layer Mask button, looks like a rectangle with a round spot in the middle. That will create a layer mask that hides everything outside of the selection and show the layer below (your new background).
