Photoshop Elements File:Â Â studio background 2024
Open File, crop to 5x7 vertical
Duplicate background (safety)
Make Selection around subject, any tool is fine, I used Select/Subject
Refine Edge
Use Smart Radius at 10, Output to New Layer with Layer Mask
New layer above background, fill with mid gray
New Layer above gray layer, set Color Picker to Defaults, then put Black on top
Filter/Render/Clouds
Add Vignette - Filter/Correct Camera Distortion/Vignette slider to left side, Midpoint slider to left side
Add Levels Adjustment Layer/New Adjustment Layer/Levels Clipped to Previous Layer. Move sliders on left and right side of histogram in to where the values begin to climb.
New Layer, add Photo Filter Layer/New Adjustment Layer/Photo Filter, Blue 80, 25%
Add Levels Adjustment to subject layer, Layer/New Adjustment Layer/Levels. Move sliders on left and right side of histogram in to where the values begin to climb This increases contrast slightly. Move middle (midtones) slider a little to left.
Done!
