Brighten Eyes 2024 Step by Step

Portrait: https://pixabay.com/photos/face-portrait-blue-eyes-blond-1035494/
Open both photos in Elements, the portrait photo will be the main project photo
Open the Photo Bin and drag the eye photo into the project
Make selection around the eye, copy, and paste into project
Resize to fit, lower opacity to 50% (for a brighter eye raise the opacity back up to 100% after positioning)
Make layer mask to fit eye
Repeat for other eye
Select both new eye layers and add to Group (use ctrl+g keyboard shortcut, or click on new group button)
Add Levels Adjustment Layer clipped to group, set white to 199
Make new layer above portrait, circle over iris, fill with light blue
Duplicate layer and move over other eye
Use Alt to copy layer masks from eyes to blue eye layers
Change Blend Mode to Color and Lower Opacity to 30%
Add New Layer on top, using White Paintbrush at 17px, put white dot on highlight
